An old man who is in his 60s, lives with a 16 year old girl on the boat on the sea. He plans to marry her when she turns 17 while isolating her from the outside world. However people come to the boat for fishing, and they flirt with the girl. As she starts having interest on city men, the obsession of the old man starts getting serious. Viewed from a universal spiritual perspective the movie becomes a metaphor for spiritual themes like spiritual guidance, free will and responsibility and unconditional love.

The movie is preceded by comments from spiritual points of view and is followed by debate.
