About Us
NATHA YOGA CENTER was founded in Copenhagen in 1990. Now we have branches in several places in the country, including: Århus, Odense, Køge, Hillerød, Roskilde , Helsingør and Bornholm . In Copenhagen we work out of our new center Concordia, in Nørrebro – which is fitted with all the facilities needed for a fast growing yoga school. Natha is part of the International Federation of Yoga and Meditation Atman – which has schools in dozens of countries all over the world.
Natha aims to offer the human being all the conditions needed for him/her to achieve health, harmony and happiness at all levels as-well as to further and expend the personal and spiritual development and deepen the self-knowledge.
The school aims to do this through the intermediary of the Intensive Yoga Course and the Intensive Tantra Course – both courses having a high level of esoteric teachings giving efficient tools for improving any aspect of life we chose. These two courses are completing each other, having different perspectives. Yet, each one of them is complete on its own so it is also possible to follow just one of these courses, each fitted for a different personal structure. Understanding the diversity in the needs of different human beings, we also offer a variety of supplementary courses, to support the transformation of each person, according to his/her needs. These courses include: Ayurveda Course (the ancient Indian medicine), Meditation Course, Tantra for Men, Tantra for Women, and Yoga for Pregnant Women. In addition, the school has an extensive program of extra-curricular activities (many of them free for Natha’s students) to give them the opportunity to enrich themselves with information and experiences supplementary to those in the courses. This program includes free Sunday lectures, visioning of spiritual movies, special meditations and spiritual workshops and camps on various themes.
The school also includes a Yoga-healing Center and a publishing house for spiritual materials.
Thus, Natha Yogacenter functions as a genuine SPIRITUAL ACADEMY .
